Notebooks Donation to Students

Asha-Jyothi is partnering with AVIRATHA, a non-government organization working in Karnataka (a state in India), to aid with their Notebook Drive.

Schools are selected based on socio-economic status of students. A printing press produces these notebooks in bulk to reduce the cost of production of books. All the notebooks distribution is done by hand, given directly to the students. These notebooks, which are just basic necessities, are the building blocks to a child’s education. This campaign is just a small of part of the bigger effort to ensure that students have all materials available and at their disposal when needed in order them to succeed. Please help support this endeavor to make a students schooling a little easier. Any amount at all is valued and appreciated.

We plan to raise $5000, which will support 500 students with around 2500 notebooks. And the remaining funds will be used to identify other additional needs.
