We are pleased to announce the near completion of six attached bathrooms, ceiling work for two hostel rooms, and kitchen room including painting work at Chaitanya Institute for Learning Disabled.

The Chaitanya Institute(http://www.chaitanyango.in/) began with 15 disabled students from nearby villages and has since expanded to coastal districts such as Andhra Pradesh with public and government support. The institute aims to educate mentally retarded and hearing-impaired children, helping them lead normal, happy lives. Recognized by state and central governments for its charitable work, the institute currently accommodates 80 students, providing free food and shelter.

This campaign was initiated by Dyuthi Vallamsetty and entirely led by our youth volunteers, Gautham Doddapaneni and Bhavya Dwivedi, who conducted numerous fundraising campaigns to support this initiative. The total amount required and successfully raised for the project amounted to $3,500, equivalent to approximately Indian Rupees 300,000. This financial support enabled the construction and renovation for the institute.

The dedication and hard work of the youth volunteers were instrumental in the successful execution of the project.

Asha-Jyothi is committed to contributing $3,500 annually to support progress and partially fulfill ongoing needs each year.
