CENTREVILLE, VA – On February 28th, a group of Asha-Jyothi volunteers led by Raja Puli, Vinny Thota, and Pranav Kode, had the opportunity and experience to meet and connect with the principals under the Westfield H.S. Pyramid. The volunteers spoke about Asha-Jyothi’s achievements, history, and pursuit to provide the youth generation with innovative resources.

Originating in 2003, Asha-Jyothi has continually expanded it’s giving efforts and campaigns. Most notably, starting in 2019 with our Educate-Innovate campaign which led to the state of the art Innovation Lab at Chantilly H.S. Since 2019, the Asha-Jyothi and Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) connection has proven strong and monumental. With more schools and communities getting involved, Asha-Jyothi has introduced STEAM and Innovation Labs at Rocky Run M.S., Waxpool Elementary School, and most recently Deer Park Elementary School.

We are are thrilled and grateful, as an entire organization, to continue our efforts of providing the necessary resources for the next generations to continue to strive and succeed. We want to sincerely thank Principal Bob D’Amato and Technology Specialist Mat Campet (Deer Park E.S.), as well as the entire staff and faculty at Deer Park E.S., for giving us the opportunity to speak on Asha-Jyothi’s commitment to the community to our school principals in the area.
