A Mandal Parishad Primary School in remote part of Bhrugubanda village, Guntur district of Indian state of Andhra had no proper seating arrangements in the classrooms for their school kids (around 100 of them). They were sitting on the ground and facing several issues. You can imagine how uncomfortable that would have been.

Many of the parents of this school kids are daily wage workers who earn less than 3 dollars per day.

This request was brought to our attention by that school teacher. With the funds raised from Asha Jyothi PA run/walk in 2019, we were able to fund 25 school benches for them. Teachers, Parents and school kids were super happy with these benches. You can see their happiness in the pictures.
