Mahika and Nithika Valluri are two high schoolers from Mission San Jose High in Fremont, CA and have been volunteering with Asha Jyothi for the past 5 years. This year they joined the AJ Youth Leadership project, Generation Yuvaa, to help build housing for underprivileged kids in India. They held their first ever hip hop dance workshop at Aerodance Academy on June 30, 2019 and raised over $1,000. At this 90 minute high energy workshop they choreographed and taught a 1 minute dance routine to over 30 people, including girls, boys, and adults aging from 7 & up.
